On August 1st, 2023, ANU students gathered for the sixth annual protest marking the release of the AHRC Change the Course Report. The event honoured survivors of sexual violence and the ongoing efforts of students and advocates pushing for a safer campus. While ANU has made progress since the 2017 report, key issues remained—particularly around the availability of information and trust in university services.
Under the theme “Hear, See, Follow Our Lead,” students called on the ANU to:
Hear the voices of survivors and advocates,
See the work being done by students,
Follow student leadership in enacting meaningful change.
