There are a variety of initiatives currently active on campus that run with the support of the Women’s Department. If you have an idea for an initiative you would like to run, send an email to the Women’s Officer at sa.womens@anu.edu.au and come along to a Collective Meeting to discuss it!
Bossy
Bossy is the ANU Women’s Department’s intersectional feminist publication, which has an online platform and a yearly print magazine. The magazine was founded in 2015. They are always accepting and publishing submissions of written and visual content created by women and women-aligned non-binary and genderqueer ANU students, staff and alumni. The Bossy team aims to publish content that is different, interesting and relevant for all readers, advocate for gender equity, and create a space where our contributors can speak loudly, proudly and without apology.
The Bossy team are accept written and visual contributions on a rolling basis all year round. To get involved, join the Bossy Contributor’s Facebook Group for access to regular briefs and prompts, or join the Bossy Visual Contributor’s Facebook Group for information on how to share your art and design.
